The 304 stainless steel pipe has tensile strength ≥520MPa (5200bar, 75419 Psi).
It is 2-10 times stronger than other pipe such as plastic, copper or galvanised steel, greatly reducing the possibility of leakage caused by external forces.
Water supply piping is an extremely small percentage of a building's construction cost. Compression-type connection technology has existed since the end of the 1950’s. It's usage is increasing and is becoming one of the standard methods of piping connection.
There is a special rubber seal ring inside the U shape position of the press fittings. To install, the stainless steel pipe is inserted into the press fitting until it reaches the positioning stage. A special compression tool is then used to to tighten one side or both sides of the U-slot and U-groove. The rubber sealing ring works to fix the positioning of the components and prevent shrinking and deformation.
